We looked at your favourite gaming genre other than cRPGs, with turn-based strategies streaking ahead to a massive lead with >33% and shooters lagging way behind at 13.5% (I should note I screwed up the categories with "4x strategy" incorrectly grouped for a few hours). Following on from shooters there was a close battle with MMORPGs, classic adventures, action/adventures and "only RPGs" holding a little over 10%. Dipping down to 6% we find RTS, with other strategy, sports and other trailing away. It's clear there's a synergy between turn-based cRPGs and strategy among our readership, with TB combat comfortably winning our poll on preferred combat system late last year. It's been some time since we polled your console habits, so we'll tackle that subject with this poll and compare any shift in responses. Hit the poll on the left.
