Two of the world's biggest publishers of MMORPGs, Korea's Webzen and NCSoft, presented their games to Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, during a Korean visit where he worked to find new bilateral trade opportunities for Brittain. The demonstrations have already taken place, but the following text, printed before the visit, gives a better explanation of the trip:
U.K.'s Prince Andrew Due in Korea to Drum Up Trade
Prince Andrew, the second son of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth, arrives for a four-day visit to Korea on Monday.
As the U.K. special representative for international trade and investment, the Duke of York will promote expansion of bilateral trade, the British Embassy said Sunday. Prince Andrew was last in Korea in 2001 to mark 50 years since British soldiers fought in the Korean War. The prince fought as a pilot in the 1982 Falklands War.
During his visit, he will watch demonstrations of online games by NCsoft and Webzen, and meet with Financial Supervisory Service Governor Yoon Jeung-hyun.
