Dispite rampant rumors of delay, Sony said on Thursday that it remained on track to roll out its new PlayStation 3 by spring 2006. the timing is of particular importance as the PS3 will include Sony's new Blu-ray next-generation DVD technology. Having the console ready simultaniously as the Blu-ray would mean a great advantage as it provides with an instant large player base.
