This review for 'Dungeon Siege II' is accompanied by assorted pop-ups, so stick with this summary and avoid the link. Despite a score of 3/10 (!) for graphics, the overall score is a reasonable 7/10:
I work as a stunt actor in the real world, the recent Dungeon Siege feature film was a project that I worked on . . . briefly. You see, I basically made it through several arduous days of rehearsals where I was trained to run, walk and act like a simian, wielding a sword and shield, while being stuck in a tight body-suit and covered in body armour. I played a Krug, the main villain in the original Dungeon Siege (which I was disappointed to see was not in DSII). The movie was a nightmare to work on as people were continually getting carted off for medical treatment due to injuries. Regular, untrained background performers were forced to basically do stunt work, and I had no less than 10 mosquito bites on each limb. At any rate, the Dungeon Siege movie was the first film that I refused to continue to work on and I basically quit after the first day of filming. So you can see I was looking forward to doing an unbiased and objective review of DSII.
