After a relatively smooth launch, World of Warcraft is up and running, and on track to be one of the most successful massively multiplayer role-playing games produced. It went live to record-breaking sales and huge player counts, and although some servers were crushed by the initial weight of demand, this polished and compelling online RPG is open for business.
