Orcs, elves, wizards, post-apocalyptic warriors, aliens, and Nazis -- all viable subject matter for video gamers. Surprisingly, up until recently, superheroes didn't make this prestigious list. The prevailing thought was that spandex and superpowers are too geeky or childish for fans of hobbits and mutants. Evidently, this is no longer the case, what with the success of City of Heroes, the films Spider-Man 2 and The Incredibles, and now the return of the Freedom Force in Irrational Games' excellent new sequel.
