Several years ago, a friend asked me if I had played a game called Freedom Force. Not only had I not played it, I had never even heard of it. Strange fact, considering I religiously read virtually every computer and videogame magazine and website around at the time. I did not run out and get the game, unfortunately, and some time went by until I saw it at a reduced price and picked it up. The game pulled me in and did not let me go for some time. First, I completed the single player game and then I went out and found many mods, including some really fun conversions employing some of my favorite comic book characters.
