Jolt has tossed up a review on inXile's 'The Bard's Tale'. The verdict is an average 7/10 and here's the intro:
Does The Bard’s Tale sound familiar to you? If so, that’s probably because it’s an update from a reasonably well-known series which hit home computer formats back in the mid-eighties. It also means that you’re getting old. Not as old as Brian Fargo, the series’ original developer, though, who’s sprung up to resurrect it. The update to The Bard’s Tale may look like a fairly standard action-RPG, and that’s because for the most part it is. But there are a few twists.
