The PC is not short of fantasy themed massively multiplayer role-playing games at the moment. It has, however, been suffering from something of a draught of Final Fantasy games (or indeed any Japanese developed titles), with the last one being VIII back in 1999. User friendly gameplay and controls have always been a hallmark of Japanese titles and considering that’s exactly where most lesser MMORPGs fall down it was with considerable interest that I recently took a trip to Square Enix’s London office to get a tour of the game.
