Although NicoDE isn't working for PB anymore, he still supports the Gothic modding community very much. The Gothic-Starter is similar to the one that comes with the mod-kit of Gothic 2 and allows you to easily access and play your mods. Several changes that come with this version: It is no longer possible to accidentally trigger modder functions. There is now a seperate .exe for modders. The Starter automatically checks whether or not the Gothic-version is 1.08h or higher. Displaying errors that occured, if too many mods are installed were removed. (The window can be resized and has scrolling function) External links to the Gothic.exe are being redirected to the Gothic-Starter. Icons from mod-teams are supported and correctly displayed. The Gothic-Starter supports all official language versions of Gothic 1, except the Chinese version. There is no need to install the new Starter, if you have already installed the previous Gothic-Starter 1.08k, unless you are having problems with it. You can download the Gothic-Starter here on WoG.
