GamersPulse has done a review of Pillars of Garendall, a low cost RPG for PC. If you are looking for value for money, they say, you can't go wrong with this one, and their rating reflects this: 91%. Here's a part of that review:

Overall, Pillars of Garendall if a lush, fun-filled world with many twists and turns. While the graphics are not too intense, the game adds a great deal of colour to the storyline, which keeps you playing the game for hours. While there are some few spelling problems, I did not encounter any bugs in the game, which is something to look forward to. While there are patches available, they are not needed unless you are having problems with a certain operating system, video card, etc. The game plays great and pulls you into a story-driven world with plenty of action-packed battles. The game, plugins and Coldstone game engine are all available for download from Ambrosia Software’s website, and can be paid for with a variety of methods to choose from. If you don’t have the money on you at the moment, you can still get a taste of the game when you download it. If you are looking for a game to play until Final Fantasy X is back in stock, or just need something new, then this game is for you.
