Warhammer Alliance previews the Badlands area of Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.This is an excerpt of Pendrako's traveling guide to the Badlands. Mind since the outbreak of war many areas have changed hands several times. Areas once reletively safe for travel are no longer. So ease and caution should be taken as the guide is not a guarantee for safty, nor for what you may actually find there today.
Now I've been around a bit in my day. There's likely no place in this land I ain't seen, from the mountain tops that mark the edge of the world to the hot southern seas. But in all my time I ain't never seen a place more 'orrible, more downright nasty, than the place they call the Badlands. It ain't the dust or the heat that gets you there, it's the Greenskins, 'undreds of them. I've seen hogs the size of horses, and trolls which don't die no matter how many times you hit 'em, and I've heard the howls of the ghouls which crawl out at night. If you think the Empire's bad, then son, you need to get yourself a taste of the Badlands.
Geographically, the Badlands are located between the ocean to the west and the mountains to the east, between the prosperous Old World to the north and the endless leagues of lifeless desert to the south.
