Some more reviews of Dungeon Siege: MGOB rates the game 9/10, giving this positive smmary:
Overall, Dungeon Siege is a genuinely addictive, beautifully presented and easy to understand RPG title that deserves all of the praise it will inevitably receive. It has all the makings of a classic, and with the imminent release of the official editing tools, it’s not the last we’ll hear of it.
The Stratos Group is positive about the game as well, rating it 4.5/5. Their conclusion:
Dungeon Siege is very much a 'love it or hate it' game. I know many people that were overly disappointed for one reason or another (mainly for the lack of character development), and who returned the game shortly after purchase. I, however, found the experience to be quite enjoyable. Dungeon Siege is the first game to come along in a long time that I just couldn't (and still can't) put down. If you're at all a fan of the Diablo-esque hack 'n slash action-RPG genre, you owe it to yourself to give Dungeon Siege a try.
And there is a review at Australian GameZone as well. There final score is 92.5% - and the summary reads like this:
I've been playing this game lately at the expense of sleep, work & the website - so beware!!! Dungeon Siege is addictive! This is the best RPG game released thus far in my opinion. So why only 92.5%?? RPG's still have a long way to go until they capture the feel of playing with pen, paper & dice. This game moves the genre ever so much closer to this - but I've left room in the scoring for the upcoming Neverwinter Nights - which features a Dungeon-Masters mode - which is hopefully going to be the PC way to play a D&D style game. You can bet we'll be watching Neverwinter Nights closely and thoroughly playing it to see how it stacks up next to this one!
