The first review of Freedom Force is up - and the winners are the guys at GamesDomain. The superhero RPG is rated 4/5 stars, and here's theri conclusion:
The cloying over-the-top tone of the voice-overs and character voices does take a little getting used to, but once you accept the parody for what it is -- an elaborately crafted, superb pastiche on the genre -- then you're well away. The game is huge fun to play through, with a great combat system backing it up. Team play becomes vital in the latter stages, as enemies come with resistances to various attacks, and choosing the right team is highly important. The game is a romp through 60s superhero cliches, mixed with excellent gameplay and a flexible character development system. Fantastic stuff. Now, enough of this banter - the people need me! Awaaaaaaay!
