Grandia 2, one of (if not the) best RPG for the Dreamcast is coming to the PC this winter, and IGN PC has a preview of what you will expect. The preview is basically just a review of the Dreamcast version, but is still something to check out. Heres a little bit about the Grandia world:
Grandia's game world was one of its most attractive features, and that seems to continue in the sequel. There's an amazing level of detail in the Grandia II world -- something that the original was known for and that the sequel continues. Buildings have curves, trees have volume, and the ground looks real (in a cartoony sorta way) due to the use of high-resolution textures.
The design of the towns, dungeons, and other areas are similar of the original. Each town has its own personality that arrives through unique design and unique residents. And just as in part 1, the towns introduce themselves through an overhead fly-by -- always something to look forward to.
You can find the entire preview right here.
