The Bard's Tale (InXile): 7/10 points Although, as other have said... it's not really an RPG... The Bard's Tale still deserves more than a 3 or lower rating. The dialog between the bard and the narrator is clever most of the time, and it does a good job of poking fun at the RPG conventions long-time RPGers are used to. I found the graphics to be suitable, and even though the plot is derivative.. that's kind of the point... to copy every "save the princess" "beat the foozle" plot that has ever existed. It won't go on my list of top CRPGs that I've ever played but I have enjoyed it as a quick game with some nice touches of comedy and the ability to make fun of the standards that we've all grown accustomed to.
