A log of a IRC chat with Ascaron staff about the direction of Sacred patch 1.7 and 1.8 can be found at Ascaron's site:
Q: In the next patch the quests be totally fixed? Also broken ones and rewards too?
A: Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that ALL quests are fixed in the next patch since there are literally hundreds of quests to check, and each situation being different, it is a long and hard process. But we will not stop until they are fixed.
We think we are in a good way in the moment to steadily improve the game for you.
