AllOutGames has done a review of Morrowind and rrated the game 93%. The detailed review concludes like this:
In a world as full of opportunity as Morrowind, it's easy to forget that you're just playing a game. Most gamers will find themselves quickly engrossed in endeavors of fantasy, losing the real world for hours at a time and failing to show up to work on schedule. While a few more features and niceties would have been appreciated, there is no denying that this is the most complete, expansive, exhaustively satisfying roleplaying game ever made. Games like Planescape: Torment certainly still rule the story department, but Morrowind is the chance for players to craft their own stories, their own destiny, and their own future of Vvardenfell. It's impossible to fully comprehend the game without actually playing, so it's safe to say that any RPG fan should already have a copy. Even people who never liked roleplaying games in the past may find themselves happily lost on thsun sweptpt shores of Ebonheart, enchanting their swords, crafting wicked spells, or trying to make that new powerful potion using the game's extensive alchemy system. Whatever your tastes, you'll find something to do in Vvardenfell, and you will have a great time doing it.
