Troika hits hard times?

Rumours have swirled around a few message boards since Vampire: Bloodlines shipped that Troika had either let go of a team or closed shop -- but nothing of any substance that warranted posting surfaced. Hearing these rumours, GameSpot included this in their recent Rumor Mill, along with a brief but cryptic statement from co-CEO Leon Boyarsky:
"We are basically perusing some options...after the beginning of February, we'll be making a statement."
While this does sound ominous, it's worth remembering that the original thread that prompted GameSpot was little but conjecture - which neither proves nor disproves the claim.
