Compared to its legions of first person shooters, racing games and multi-format action clones, the Xbox’s supply of good RPGs is minimal, bordering on pathetic. Despite this, any gamer will be able to tell you the names of at least two that are worthy of your time: Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic 2 – both from the BioWare stable, although the second was shipped out to Obsidian. They were fantastic games with stories so deep and engrossing that even non-Star Wars fans found themselves entranced.
