Besides the fact that it was cool because it came with a cloth map and an amulet, it was so extensive and seemed to be an open ended world with an awesome storyline. There was nothing like it before or for some time afterwards. This game, for me, is the quintessential RPG and I would still love to play it today, partly because I never did finish it all those years ago
