New VIA drivers released

If you have XP and an Athlon, you might know the troubles one can see - crashes, blue screens of death and such. Actually, this was an incompatibility between some BIOS settings and the way AGP was used (detonators are to blame, too). Well, VIA has now released a new set of drivers that changes some settings in the BIOS (those you can't reach yourself). I installed it today, and so far, things are stable like never before. I have heard it works for most chipsets (have a look at the forums when you follow the link - it's in the XPChat section), so you might want to try it if you have run in troubles with XP and games so far (should work for 2000, too).
