Mindless quasi-RPG fun.

Joshua Rodman has rated 6/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Joshua Rodman)

This game added locations and descriptions and a sense of D&D exploration and adventure, but featured a difficult and uninteresting combat and character system.

Mortal Coil has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Mortal Coil)

This game and Castle Wolfenstein are two of the first computer games I ever owned (Commodore 64). Temple of Apshai was a blast! It was my first experience with a computer role-playing game. My rating reflects the standards of the time the game was released.

DarkFencer has rated 7/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from DarkFencer)

Just seeing the name of this game brings back memories. I used to play one of the games in the trilogy (don't remember which) on my Commodore 64 (I must have been 6 years old). It was probably my first RPG, but I didn't even know what an RPG was then.

HiddenX has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from HiddenX)

my first rpg-like game on the c64.

Back in the day, this was one of the must have RPGs, along with Ultima 2 and 3. CGA Graphics and Speaker sound are unspectacular but remember this game was running on PC XTs..:)

I remember playing this game for hours and hours.. of course, I wouldn't waste more than five minutes on it, today.
