Dragon Empires Q&A #16 at RPGVault

As you might have read, Codemasters plan to implement a new feature to Dragon Empires: Players can build the world. How does that work? And how will it work out? These and other questions are answered in the latest Dragon Empires Q&A at RPGVault. One thing that caught my attention is that only clans ruling towns can build permanent structures, but there seems to be personal housing as well:
Peter Tyson and Mark Zechiel: Individual players may be able to place temporary structures, but 'permanent' structures are placeable only by clans ruling cities to prevent urbanization of the entire of Fortitude in under three months! However, you can also use the placement point system to spruce up your personal house with new furniture and features such as trophies, chairs, banners, shelves, tables, etc.

There are also objects that can be placed by those with a conjure skill. These characters can summon traps, temporary walls, defensive objects and so on that last for a limited period of time and are useful in battle. We think this will add a new layer of tactical thinking to groups with these types of characters along and in combat as well as some interesting city fighting tactics!
