If you've been following our previews or our previous guided tours, you know that The Matrix Online will take place entirely inside the computer-generated City that makes up the virtual prison of The Matrix. If players are going to be effective, they're going to have to know the lay of the land. That's why Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Sega, and GameSpy have been giving you weekly sneak peeks at the ultimate virtual battleground. Last week's entry finally took readers to the much tonier Downtown district where we met Sammy "Lilac" Wien, the ultimate "Old Boy" of the Old Boy Network. This week we continue through Downtown as we dodge the Pit Vipers, meet Madame T and stop in for the night at the Laurel Diamond.
