Kathode posted in the official forums some performance info about Morrowind on his top of the line machine and also has a new 1600x1200 screenshot for us to drool over. Thanks Kathode, I've been wanting a 1600x1200 Morrowind screenshot for my desktop background for a while :)
Well I finally found the time to do a little site-seeing with my character in the Morrowind beta (been strapped for time with the end of the semester coming up). I am now the proud owner of an Athlon XP2000+ with a Geforce4 Ti4600 card, so I cranked up everything that could be cranked. I put the resolution at 1600x1200, full shadows, full view distance, full everything. It was awesome. I even had Quincunx AA on for a while till I realized it didn't make hardly any difference at that high a resolution.
Anyway, I decided I should probably share my joy, so I uploaded a very nice screenshot for your viewing pleasure. It's of my character, Aden Mantala, overlooking the city of Suran at sunset. You can see about half the city I think. It's in full 1600x1200 so be prepared for a big download.

btw, with all this stuff on, I don't think my framerate has dropped below 20-25 fps yet, even in the most crowded areas. Runs like a dream in the wilderness or interiors.
