Mythic Entertainment has commented on an issue that occured on Galahad and Polomides within the last 24 hours. One of the major gameplay elements of Dark Age of Camelot is RvR (Realm vs. Realm) combat. And a major part of RvR combat is stealing the enemy's relics to bring them to your base (sort of like Capture The Flag in FPS's).
However, on Galahad and Polomides the relics were reset just when the capturing party was carrying them to their home base. Needless to say that the winning party wasn't exactly happy about this incidence. It seems like some people thought Mythic interfered intentionally to keep the game balanced. But in the latest news posted at Camelot Herald, Mythic denies they had any influence on the outcome of the battle. Instead, the relics were given to the winning party because Mythic was able to determine that they would have won in any case. Check the link for details. |
