Frankly, it's about time. NPD has finally caught up with the modern era, releasing new PC game sales figures that take into account online sales and subscription models. The result is a jump from ~$900M in 2005 to their current estimate of $1.4B:When the research group originally released its figures for the 2005 PC industry back in January, it noted the deficiency of its existing system of accounting for total PC sales.
