What this game provides that none other has is that it uses group-based combat and trade to promote community building and to bring back a reason to compete in an online MMORPG. The only thing to compete for in every online RPG today is a piece of loot or an artificial point of land you can't ever own. Dominus Online allow guilds to own their own lands, and forces them to compete against large trade or combat units in order for their guild to maintain its overall power in the eyes of the community.
