GameHelper PC's "Frenchscumbag" has unveiled this E3 2005 preview for the upcoming Heroes of Might and Magic V - though it's too bad they have the "fact sheet" on this preview for the old 3DO Might & Magic V *chuckles*...

One of the focuses of the demo was the city interface. Well, kind of; the interface wasn’t actually in, but a lot of the visuals were. We were shown a human city and a demon city - two of the game’s six factions. Very, very purdy. And they’ve only got about a third of the game’s graphics done with a full year to go in development. The main focus of the city, is of course, the gargantuan tower smack in the middle; that which produces everything that comes out of the city. Additions to the tower are represented visually, and as the settlement grows in power, the villages surrounding them will grow into towns, then cities, and so on. What we were shown pretty much consisted of houses, roads, and puffs of chimney smoke. We were told however, that an actual populace would be added, with peasants going about their daily lives. The demon city consisted of a colossal tower and lots and lots of fire.
