Ion Storm's 'Thief: Deadly Shadows' has been reviewed at Gamers Wanted, where the score was 8/10:
A long time ago, before Sam Fisher, before Agent 47, and even before (if only by a few months) Solid Snake made his 3d debut, there was Garret: A master thief: rarely seen and never caught. The original Thief game practically created the stealth game genre; making sneaking around and staying undetected not only an asset, but a necessity of survival. In Garret’s earlier adventures (there was a sequel: Thief 2 – The Metal Age), he snuck, crept, stole and blackjacked his way through numerous interesting situations, usually tied in some way to the Hammerites and Pagans (two of ‘Thief’s big factions). It’s been years since Garret has stepped foot on the PC, and now he’s back to his old tricks and looking better than ever in Deadly Shadows.
