RPGVault has posted an intelligence report on Asheron's Call 2, Turbine's upcoming MMORPG. It's a good summary of known facts about the game - if you are interested in this (good looking) title, you should have a look. Here's something to get you into the mood:
Player Characters: Unlike in the original Asheron's Call where players chose from three human races, Asheron's Call 2 allows players to now take on the roles of Lugians and Tumeroks, in addition to the stock human character. Both are both humanoid, with the former being strong and large while the latter are more wily and are expected to make great archers.

Character Creation & Development: After choosing a race, players will be able to completely customize their character's skills and appearance. Characters will earn experience whenever they complete quests or kill monsters, which can then be applied to individual skills to improve them. Players will also level, and the skill credits earned upon doing so may be used to train additional skills. Skills are tree-based. One distinctive change from the original is the ability to untrain skills and regain those skill points, creating an almost unlimited ability to change a character, although there are penalties involved.
