Micro Forte, known for Fallout Tactics and other games, has recenty announced that they are doing a MMORPG for the XBox, but not revealing details about this game so far. HomeLan sat down with them to do an interview with them - and the only thing you learn about their unannounced project is that the BigWorld engine will be ported to the XBox. In general, the interview is very interesting, though, so you might want to check it out. Here's a snip:
HomeLAN - The announcement of Micro Forte's game for the Xbox with Microsoft was something of a surprise. How did this come about?

John DeMargheriti - After GDC 2002 we had an idea for a great MMOG game for the Xbox. Paul McInnes is the lead designer for this game. Paul, Simon Hayes and I traveled to Seattle and pitched our game idea to the Microsoft Games group. It was the game that Microsoft was looking for as its possible "killer app" for the Xbox. While there were other publishers who were also interested in the BigWorld Technolgoy and possible applications fo this technology on certain franchises, the idea of working on the world's first true console MMOG was very appealing.
