BGII:TOB is an incredible ending for the Child of Bhaal saga. I was very impressed and satisfied with the game's ending, and the final adventures were very enjoyable. Kudos to Bioware for making and completing such a grand story. |

This is a good game,it keeps you wanting to play, and the replay is good also. Load times can be annoying. And there is a feeling of just trying to get through some quests, you know? Where you just want it to end. But other than that no compliants, very good game. |

You cant touch this game. Improves over BG2 in almost every way. Some great new spells, which you actually use btw. Great items, very nice bosses, exotic locations, 2(or 3, forgot) different endings, so many race/class combos make the game very replayable, if you have BG2 and like it, pick up ToB right away. |

There are some really memorable moments in this game. For example, you meet and help a newbie adventuring party and realize how powerful you have really become. In another sequence you play a game where you guide a character through a monster-infested maze, similar to an oldschool text-adventure (only with graphics). Amazing fun! |

Excellent as far as expansions go. It was clearly intended to be BG3 but like any high level AD&D game it gets silly.
Biggest Problem I had was it was way way too Diablo-like. Other things like too few sidequests and the inability to go back to Amn annoyed me too. However, you gotta wrap it up somehow-overall about the quality of the movie Return of the Jedi. |

In many ways this game improved on the original, but despite all the advances and epic storyline, I enjoyed many aspects of the original (that others probably found tedious) such as wandering randomly around the countryside. The sequel also allowed its storyline to get out of control and simultaneously introduced too many powerful skills and items. This game could have been dragged across two more sequels with each sequel advancing the character only ten levels or less at a time. |

A very dissapointing ending to what is a great saga.
Very predictable story.
Very combat heavy.
After playing PS;T, I could not help it but to expect as deep a story for the conclusion of the Bhaalspawn saga. So it part it is my high expectation that ruined the game for me.

After BG2 this was ridiculous. In hindsight clearly an omen for the appalling NWN. What happened at Bioware? Invasion of the bodysnatchers? But hey, it's not quite as bad as NWN. |

Boring combat, zero interaction in the inane story (honestly, how many did not realize that Melissan was a baddie pretty much as soon as she showed up?). How come every simple guard is a fighter lord with extreme magic equipment? Why are dragons so plentiful? This expansion to the most overrated RPG game ever is full of things like this. Spells are pretty though. |

With the Throne of Bhaal expansion, Baldur's Gate suddenly became Icewind Dale, a combat heavy, less story-driven RPG. I played the original game twice but the expansion only once, it just wasn't as good. It's a nice wrap-up though for the BG series, which is what Bioware claims it to be, but I for one wish Bioware would make a third Baldur's Gate. :-( Classic characters, terrific voice acting, great stories, a super RPG gaming engine, this game had it all. |

Too short, and not enough to do. I hated feeling like that I had to rush to the conclusion after dealing with Yaga-Shura. Everything just went totally bland after that. If the entire expansion was written with the same depth as the Yaga-Shura/Saradush quests, then this would have been trully excellent. |
