Topic: Gameworld Design
An interesting, appealing gameworld is a critical element in any persistent state title. We invited our expert panel to comment on the considerations and challenges involved in designing and building one, including but not limited to the factors that make the difference between good, very good and excellent; the benefits and drawbacks of size, variety, an original gameworld vs. one based on an existing property, world interactivity, and advanced graphics; and how the art of gameworld design has advanced during the recent years, how it's changing now, and how it will evolve in the next generation of online worlds.
