Games Domain is next in line to offer up a review of 'Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II' for Playstation 2. Rating: 4/5.
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance turned out to be a pleasant surprise when it was released on PlayStation 2 in late 2001. Based on an insanely popular series of hardcore PC role-playing games, it was a top-down orc-mashing hack and slash fest based loosely on the classic Gauntlet series. Now, from Interplay's internal (and now defunct) development studio Black Isle, Dark Alliance II has made it to stores. Does it measure up to the fine quality of its predecessor? We found out.
