Zen Gamer has published a review of Morrowind, based on app. 100 hours of game time and a level 33 character. The game receives a perfect score of 10/10 (which doesn't mean it is flawless), and their conclusion reads like this:
Morrowind is the finest first person RPG ever released. It is epic in scope, its atmosphere is deep and involved, and it succeeds in redefining a genre growing stale with imitation and lack of imagination. Morrowind is not for everyone, and those used to console RPGs will probably be shocked at just how deep and expansive a role playing game is capable of being. It is hard to think of just how to describe Morrowind. It's much like the Baldur's Gate series; it threatens to turn the genre on its ear and set a new standard. Simply put, if you play one game this year, it should be Morrowind.
