Larian Studios' 'Beyond Divinity' has been reviewed at Dead Alfs. It's a more positive article than the modest score of 7/10 would suggest:
Being a big fan of RPG games I was excited to be given the chance to review Beyond Divinity. For those of you who played Divine Divinity this is more of the same, but on a much bigger scale. 'Hurray!' you may cry, but the only improvement in eye candy is the fancy DirectX9 spells and the characters are now 3D models! Yes, the environment is still a fixed 3D backdrop, but don’t despair - what it lacks in modern 3D tech it sure makes up for in quests and gameplay. Such wonderful graphics seen in Dungeon Siege have dazzled many, but the game is very linear whereas BD is very much non-linear. For people new to the world of the Divinity games, just think of Diablo on a bigger scale with heaps of quests and you're there.
