A rating of 8/10 is te restult of the review of nachronox over at MGON. This is something about the script:

Anachronox is the sort of game you’ll either love or loathe, as it has its own very distinct personality, and some of the scripting is at times a little odd / silly or funny depending on your perspective. As an example when you visit the martial arts Dojo, called ‘Wackmaster Jack’ you bump into a big fighter who has a few odd lines.

The big guy says ; “I have nothing to fear in the dark of night, for I have beefy whacking at my disposal” and you are left wondering if he is referring to a 'self pleasuring' fantasy or speaking as a fighter espousing his prowess in combat.

There are other times when you just find yourself thinking that perhaps the script could have been polished a tad.
