HomeLan Fed has an interview with Matt Frior from Dark Age of Camelot about the upcoming expansion Shoruded Isles. Here's a little something for you:
HomeLAN - What sorts of new locations will be seen in the expansion?
Matt Firor - We're going to try to spice up the terrain a bit to make it more exciting and fun to explore - our new engine will give us better water effects, so we'll be sure to take advantage of that. Also, the new engine will give us much better dungeon lighting and geometry effects (reflective surfaces, etc.).
HomeLAN - What other gameplay elements will be included in Shrouded Isles that you consider to be important?
Matt Firor - Well, the new classes will add a lot of neat skills and spells that don't exist right now, which will be a lot of fun for existing players to try out. We are adding some interesting elements to the existing game (i.e. you won't have to buy the expansion to get these): an all-PvP server, the ability for craftspeople to make magical weapons and armor, and player-bought and controlled housing. |
