Lineage Territory Support
We are extremely pleased with the enthusiasm shown by the Lineage the Bloodpledge game community as it continues to grow worldwide. However, as a result of this enthusiasm, we have seen an increase in the number of players opting to play on non-local serverss. As each territory maintains their own customer support staff, this can lead to complications and delays in response to customer questions and other issues.
To resolve these complications, we will begin blocking IP addresses on the US servers for new accounts created in territories with existing Lineage support. This change will go into effect on Tuesday, August 21st and will affect new accounts created in Hong Kong and Japan. Customers wishing to play Lineage in these territories may visit their websites at http://www.lineage.com.hk (Hong Kong) and http://www.lineageonline.jp (Japan) for details on connecting to the local servers.
Please note that this change does not affect existing accounts playing on the North American servers - it will only affect new accounts created after this date.
This change requires a brief server outage during the regularly scheduled 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday maintenance window. |
