And over at the Killer Betties website, Chris Stavros revels in this rather remarkable, yet really rave review re Myst V: End of Ages, which scores perfectly with a 5 out of 5 star rating...

As a final chapter this game is indeed a crowning achievement in gaming. Each of the richly crafted chapters adds its own special feel to the overall experience of playing the game. The soundtrack is quite complimentary to the game, and the voiceover work is outstanding. Cyan is to be congratulated for making such a fine final entry to this wonderful series of games.

One thing I would like to mention is this game is a good standalone product, and you do not have to have played any of the previous games in the series to enjoy this game; a real plus to the story, but of course you will enjoy it more if you have played the sequels. Anyone looking to immerse themselves in a well constructed fantasy world filled with pathos and a good storyline will enjoy end of ages.
