The staff of CVG have installed this highly interesting interview with Revolution Software's Charles Cecil re "Broken Sword 4: The Angel of Death"...
Do you remember any stand-out moments from making the Broken Sword games?
Charles Cecil: I do remember having great confidence in the first Broken Sword and it looking really ropey right up to the end. There was really no great excitement until about two months leading before release, when the music went in, we did the second pass on the graphics, tightened up the script, added the voice actors and so on. With an adventure it never looks any good until right before the end - the tragedy is if you don't get enough polishing time before you release the game. It was a wonderful realisation then, at the end of development of BS1, that we'd made something pretty good.
