There's a new preview of Stormfront's/SSI's Pool of Radiance 2 over at GamesDomain.

Here's a snip from the intro:

Thirteen years ago, way back when a Commodore Amiga was a cutting-edge piece of computer hardware, SSI released the first in the 'gold box' series of games, the very first Advanced Dungeons and Dragons computer game ever: Pool of Radiance. And now (cue throaty, dramatic voice-over)... IT'S BACK!

Stormfront is releasing a new, buffed-up incarnation of its ancient classic with a spanking new engine, a new story (in the form of a sequel taking place ten years after the conclusion of the first game) and a new approach. The grand old master is back in town, and looking to teach these young whippersnappers a thing or two about rolling funny-shaped dice.
