RPGVault has posted the latest of their Horizons Development diaries. Creative Director David Bowman is telling you how the guild system in Horizons will work:
In Horizons, anyone can form a guild as long as they are not already a member of an existing guild. The only requirement for creating the guild is a guild fee due when you register your guild at the Hall of Guilds. When the guild is formed, a mission statement is created that defines the goals of the guild. In the Hall of Guilds, you can learn about all of the registered guilds in the world as well as the general rules for maintaining a guild. Of course, a guild of only one member hasn't yet earned the right to have a guild name. So these probationary guilds are given a temporary name by the Hall of Guilds until they reach sufficient size to qualify for proper naming. When the guild has registered enough members, the Guild Leader is asked to submit a name to the Hall of Guilds for approval. |
