They came up with a score of 82% and (after a detailed look at the game) with this conclusion: HOMM4 may not be a perfect strategy game, but that fact doesn't make it any less of an excellent purchase for series, strategy, or fantasy fans (and mod makers as well, since an excellent scenario generator is included). The many scenarios, endless strategies, and role playing character development make it a game that players, both new and old to the series, can enjoy for endless hours.
