Atlantis: Evolution - Review @ Warcry

Warcry's J. C. Ford presents this rather bleak review re Atlantus: Evolution - though Ford gave Atlantus a miserly 3.0 out of 10 overall rating - Warcry's readers have raised the Atlantus ante to an overall 5.3 rating...

Verdict

The "graphical adventure" genre is a fascinating beast. The deceptively simple technological demands of most of these games give developers more time to focus on fleshing out their games with equal parts dramatic storytelling, mind-bending puzzles and breathtaking graphics.

One might wonder why that was apparently not the case for Atlantis Evolution. From storyline, to puzzles, to voice acting, this game seems downright amateurish when compared to its genre competition (The Myst Series, Syberia, Aurora, etc).
