A positive review of Shadowbane has been served up at RPGVault. There's no final score but here's part of the conclusion:

Of course, the most important question is whether the game is fun. To this, I can give a resounding yes. Shadowbane is unlike any massively multiplayer game I've played before. It gives the player an almost endless myriad of choices. From the creation and development of your character, to the guild you join, killing someone and making an enemy or saving them and making a friend - it all comes down to player choices, almost none of which are made for you. There's nothing more fulfilling than taking out a raiding party sent by an enemy guild. Nothing more glorious then raising an army, and razing your opponents' guild to the ground. Nothing more suspenseful than running through enemy territory, pockets laden with gold.
