Speaking of Dar Space: ActionVault has reviewed Dark Space, the futuristic MMORPG by PaleStar. While there is no numerical rating, the final paragraph suggests that there is something to the game, although there are annoying difficulties if you want to play it:
Although DarkSpace is now in the commercial phase of its life cycle, it's still very much a title in development. This is evidenced by the almost daily patches and server reboots. The current version of the game does have admirable depth to it, and will certainly reward any player who perseveres with an engrossing gameplay experience, but the disruption to play caused by the updates can be counter-productive. Still, PaleStar deserves recognition for its determination to improve the title. DarkSpace is an ambitious project, combining elements from several different genres, and as such it will take time to get the balance just so. Perhaps then, it is one to maintain a vigil over, as it edges closer to achieving its goal as a fully comprehensive space simulation.
