Duplex Systems has made the following announcement at the official 'Face of Mankind' website...Duplex Systems hereby announces its partnership with Ojom GmbH, based in Berlin, Germany.
Ojom, a leading publisher of mobile entertainment titles, will also enter the Massive Multiplayer PC games market. Ojom will function as the exclusive virtual publisher/distributor for Face of Mankind, run TV advertising and, will offer mobile phone users the option of paying for subscriptions with direct billing to their mobile phones.
"By providing the convenience of payment direct to your telephone bill, we have dramatically increased the ease at which users can participate in the fascinating world of Massively Multiplayer online games. I know a lot of people here in Europe who just got a credit card only to be able to subscribe to a Massive Multiplayer game. Or people who went for weeks through all kinds of difficult ways to pay for an online game without a credit card. But simply everybody I know owns a mobile phone. With Ojom now offering this payment solution it is a huge step to make it more easy for people to play such fantastic games and experience all the fun Massive Multiplayer games can offer with their thousands of players." , says Christian Winter, Ojom’s project manager of online gaming.
Ojom, as well as Jamba AG, belongs to VeriSign, Inc., based in Mountain View, California. VeriSign, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRSN) delivers intelligent infrastructure services that make the Internet and telecommunications networks more reliable and secure. Every day VeriSign helps thousands of businesses and millions of consumers conduct commerce and communications with confidence.
